On Tuesday, January 10, 2023, the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors (BOS) will be receiving a report from the World Institute on Disability (WID) on the community feedback with the priorities of the community for the newly formed Office of Disability Affairs.

The report can be found on the BOS agenda: Item No. 20 or you can download it from the All Things Disability website. I do not know what time this item will be heard. The BOS meetings start at 9:30 am. Email Michele@AllThingsDisability.org if you need a text message or email alert when the item is about to be heard.

Please attend virtually or in person to share your opinions on this report and the process of outreach. The County Supervisors need to hear your stories and experiences to understand this report and continue to advance the office and improve equity for disabled people.

Public comment can also be submitted via email to BoardOperations@cob.sccgov.org no later than Monday to ensure they are able to be reviewed prior to the meeting.
